Frequently asked questions

How do I play?

Your opponent swings a sword down at you. Tap the screen when the tip of the blade comes between your hands, level with the red marks on your palms. Too early or too late and you are cut. Your very first duel starts with a practice partner who cannot cut you.

In "Foes" you can read each opponent's habits and tips. Tap "Practice" to train against any foe you have met, as often as you like.

How do I get famed swords?

By disarming, for the first time, the master who appears every 10th opponent, or one of the rare foes who sometimes appear from the 11th. Some are also given for the number of swords you have taken in all. Your famed swords are on the home screen under "Famed swords".

Where is my data stored?

Your records, swords, famed swords, foe guide, feats, statistics and settings are all stored only on your device. No account is needed and nothing is sent to a server.

Can I move my data to a new phone?

Not at the moment. Please note that deleting the app also deletes your data.

How do I change the language or turn off sound and vibration?

Open "Settings" on the home screen. You can choose the language there, set the volume of the music, the duel sound and the sound effects separately (all the way left is silent), and turn vibration on or off.

About ads

The app shows ads through Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of the home screen, and a video ad when you choose "Watch an ad to continue" after being cut. No ads appear during a duel. See the privacy policy for details.

Are there in-app purchases?

No. The whole game is free to play.
